Bringing together the science of Yoga and the healing properties of the Thermal Springs the result is complete letting go and effortless cellular relaxation.

 The daily Yoga program includes Asanas (specific yogic postures and exercises), Pranayamas (yogic breathing and cleansing techniques that detoxify and fully oxygenate the body) and Mindfulness Meditation to balance and equalize the awakened bodily and mental energies.  Meditation is a state that happens naturally after the mind is properly concentrated.  It occurs effortlessly when the proper conditions for the body/mind are set and mental obstacles are removed.

The program also includes Tai Chi – Chi Gong, a highly restorative form of gentle exercise that means, “Cultivating the Life Force”.   These seemingly easy movements open the acupuncture meridian channels and assisting in the better circulation of energy and removing of toxins with great therapeutic results.

The daily Thermal Spa program includes one (recommended) or more baths in the therapeutic thermo-metallic waters in the external (35 degrees Celsius) and internal pool (37 degrees Celsius).  Both pools are equipped with hydro jets of all kinds and pressures.  These precious waters originate from a depth of 3000m with a consistency of metallic salts and trace elements of 32-45 grams/liter.  These waters have an excellent effect on myosceletal, arthritic, mobility and skin issues, chronic inflammations, migraines, and symptoms of stress.

The daily vegetarian home made food is organically grown in the private estate of the owner and it is prepared with love in order to support the healthy purpose of the program with a variety of balanced meals, juices, fruits and nuts.  If you aren’t vegetarian, it is a great opportunity to try it for the days of the retreat.  If not, we may accommodate for organic meat as well.

 Aims

 This retreat will help you to:

 ·      Learn and practice Yoga Asanas, Pranayamas and Chi Gong that relax and invigorate the organism bringing it to a higher level of health

 ·      Learn and practice ways to respect your body as a temple and treat it as such

 ·      Learn new ways to approach food – what, when, why and how to eat

 ·      Deeply relax through the combination of thermal baths, relaxation techniques and meditation

08:00-09:25 Pranayama and Chi Gong performed outdoors next to a waterfall of thermal waters that falls to the sea or on a seafront deck (weather permitting)

09:30-10:30 Breakfast

12:00-12:30 Aqua Fitness (optional)

13:00-14:30 Yoga & Relaxation Program

14:30-15:30 Lunch

18:00-18:30 Aqua Fitness (optional)

19:30-21:00 Satsang-Meditation

Facilitator

Konstantinos Chrysikakis MA, PhDc, has studied Physical Education and has a Masters degree in Coaching & Sport Studies (Western Michigan University) and doctoral studies in Sport Psychology (Florida State University).  He studied Yoga at Kripalu Center for Yoga & Health for two years and in India in his many visits and retreats.  He studied Chi Gong and Hui Chun Gong in Greece and also studied the implementation of Tai Chi in psychological issues.  He teaches Yoga for 25 years and Chi Gong for 10 years.  He also teaches and practices Vipassana meditation for over 20 years.  He conducts seminars in companies and groups in subjects such as Mindfulness, Stress Management, Performance, Motivation, Team Building, Relaxation techniques, Wellness, Self Esteem, and Vibrant Health.
