The daily Yoga program includes Asanas (specific yogic postures and exercises based in the Kripalu and other yogic disciplines), Pranayama (yogic breathing and cleansing techniques that detoxify and fully oxygenate the body) and Vipassana-Mindfulness Meditation to balance and equalize the awakened bodily and mental energies. Meditation is a state that happens naturally after the mind is properly concentrated. It occurs effortlessly when the proper conditions for the body/mind are set and mental obstacles are removed.
The program also includes Tai Chi – Chi Kung (Qigong), a highly restorative form of gentle exercise that means, “Cultivating the Life Force”. These seemingly easy movements open the acupuncture meridian channels and assist in the better circulation of energy and removal of toxins with great therapeutic results.
The daily Thermal Spa program includes one (recommended) or more baths in the therapeutic thermo-metallic waters in the external (35 degrees Celsius) and internal pool (37 degrees Celsius). Both pools are equipped with hydro jets of all kinds and pressures. These precious waters originate from a depth of 3000m with a consistency of metallic salts and trace elements of 32-45 grams/liter. These waters have an excellent effect on myosceletal, arthritic, mobility and skin issues, chronic inflammations, migraines, and symptoms of stress.
The daily vegetarian home made food is organically grown in the private estate of the owner and it is prepared with love in order to support the healthy purpose of the program with a variety of balanced meals, juices, fruits and nuts. If you aren’t vegetarian, it is a great opportunity to try it for the days of the retreat. If not, we may accommodate for organic meat as well.
AIMS
This retreat will help you to:
· Learn and practice Yoga Asanas, Pranayamas and Qigong that relax and invigorate the organism bringing it to a higher level of health
· Learn & practice the basics of Vipassana Mindfulness meditation
. Learn and practice ways to respect your body as a temple and treat it as such
· Learn new ways to approach food – what, when, why and how to eat
· Deeply relax through the combination of thermal baths, relaxation techniques and meditation
