We begin our program on Friday evening with light stretches and a meditation in the Speleotherapy Salt Room which has great cleansing and healing effects on the lungs with its antibacterial and disinfectant properties.
At 08:00 on Saturday morning, we depart for our Forest bathing walk in the surrounding woods and practice Healing Qigong amongst trees and running waters on the foothills of Mystras. After returning home, we feast with a memorable and wholesome organic breakfast overlooking the valley of Sparta. At 13:00 we have our Yoga session to eliminate the physical toxins and celebrate our Pranic life energy. At 20:00 we Mindfully Meditate on the body, feelings, and thoughts cleansing the mental toxins and experiencing deep levels of healing vibrations.
Sunday morning we hike to a nearby gorge and do our Healing Qigong in a temple inside a cave overlooking the river underneath! Our enthusiastic noon Yoga session will ensure that our spirits are high and vibrant and that our healing energy will be the guide of our life’s journey. All of our sessions are designed to completely relax and detoxify the body and mind allowing the healing process to accelerate and bring you to a new level of balance.
Apart from our program, there are other things you can do in this energetically fortified area. Next to us, you can visit the UNESCO World Heritage Archaeological Site of Mystras. This castle city (kastropolis) full of orthodox churches, was part of the Byzantine empire and Constantine Palaiologos was crowned here as emperor before the fateful battle with the Turks in Constantinople. It was also here that the great neo-platonic scholar Gemistus Pletho founded his school of philosophy before going on to revive Greek learning in Western Europe where he planted the seeds of the Renaissance. Here is also the land of king Leonidas and the great city state of Sparta.
