In collaboration with specific leading experts in their field, we developed a series of programs that promote the unfolding of human potential in specific professional individuals and groups. Since 1995, we provide programs in Health, Wellness, Stress Management, Team Building, Motivation, Self Esteem, Performance Enhancement, Mindfulness and Yoga in corporate settings and elite athletes and performers. We acknowledge and instigate each person’s physical and mental energy aiming to the full realisation of their own talents, gifts, skills and potential. For best results, our tools for the mind and body are based on Psychological and Philosophical principles, Mindfulness Training, Nutrition, Yoga and Qi Gong.
This program offers the opportunity for therapists and care givers to delve deeper into the connection between body, mind & spirit, reconnect with themselves and be more relaxed, aware, energetic and inspired. You will grow through learning new ways of self-care and caring for others. You will learn how to manage the conscious and unconscious emotional spectrum through the Mindful approach. You will share your experiences and receive feedback in an appreciative and constructive way. You will be more creative, calmer and renewed!
These programs strengthen the physical and mental health of managers and employees and contribute to their job satisfaction. You will be more resilient, confident and concentrated. You will notice a transformative shift in awareness as it becomes evident that you personally are in total control of your body, mind and work. You will learn ways to maintain the health of your body and mind through proper nutrition, mental and physical fitness. “It is easier to build strong children than to repair broken men“ (Frederic Douglass, 1817-1895).
With this quote in mind, our programs offer Physical, Mental and Spiritual Strength helping adolescents (years 10-17) and young adults (years 18-25) to formulate a solid base of Self-Esteem and Emotional Intelligence (EQ). We provide a firm foundation through Physical Exercise with Mental and Emotional practices that foster development through personal sessions and group activities. In these programs, young adults become more autonomous, have a higher self value, become more resilient and learn to cope with life’s changes with responsibility and grace.
The Virtues of Yoga: Yama & Niyama and the Delphic Maxims in today’s world
We analyse, examine and practice the first two foundational parts of Patanjali’s Ashtanga Yoga for a harmonious relationship with ourselves and the world. Yamas and Niyamas are the ethical guidelines of the yogic system and provide a solid base for a clear and strong mind without any distractions. There are methodical steps to purify our thoughts, words and actions so we may actualise our human potential and live life to the fullest.
Yamas are the “controls-restraints-moral disciplines” — the outer proper conduct of behaviours that help us live harmoniously in the world. They are non-violence, truthfulness, non-stealing, non-excess and non-possessiveness. Niyamas are the “positive duties” or “observances” — the inner proper conduct of actions towards ourselves in order to live a healthy, harmonious and satisfying life. They are purity, contentment, self-discipline, self-study, and surrender.
In this program we examine the Yamas and Niyamas thoroughly and how they correlate with the Delphic Maxims-Sutras that were inscribed on the walls of the temple of Apollo at Delphi. These 147 oracles were attributed to the Seven Sages of ancient Greece and have been mentioned as early as 550 BC. It is amazing that each Yama and Niyama is exactly similar to at least one of the Delphic Oracles-Sutras.
